Newport News Wavescreen was a project produced by Hayes Seay Mattern and Mattern. The wave screen's construction consisted of precast circular concrete piles, precast concrete panels and a cast-in-place pile cap. Construction documents were produced on AutoCAD R12. Drawings included such information as reinforcing details, pile details, civil point elevation, civil contours and earthwork. This rendering was produced in Microstation V4. The wavescreen was overlayed onto a photograph of the existing location prior to wavescreen construction. Click on the photograph for a larger image. |
