McPherson & Associates, P.C. - Network Administrator:

Designed, installed and managed a Linux/Windows NT 4.0 Server TCP/IP network with twenty-five workstations running Windows 95 and Windows 98. Network has multiple subnets and a public internet zone, see Network Diagram. Network contains four Redhat 7.0 Linux Servers running SAMBA, DHCP, DNS, Apache, NAT, Sendmail, POP, FTP, SQL server and VPN; responsible for obtaining a domain name, static IP addresses, installing DNS servers, wrote DNS records, installed/configured Sendmail and installed/configured Apache. Developed the company's Web page and intranet database using HTML, SSI, PERL scripts and SQL. Responsibilities include building and upgrading workstations, installing software, troubleshooting, support to users, network maintenance, daily back-ups, archiving, security, purchasing equipment, network journal, solution database and training; also developed the company's network procedure manual.
