CNU Student Center Addition

This was a fast-track project for Christopher Newport University. It was required that the addition be completed and occupied prior to the fall semester. Lead time on materials verses design time was one of the challenges we achieved. Of couse, construction admininstration was important for the contractors to complete their work on time.

The addition is non-combustable construction, steel framing and fire-resistant plywood sheathing with standing-seam metal roof.

My responsibilities included meeting with the client, field investigation, presentations, design and drafting.
