I have always been fond of the island of Chincoteague. My mother read me the legendary story “Misty” when I was young. Since those days, I had always dream of going to the Pony ‘Round-Up’ and Pony Swim from Assateague. During my visit there, of course work related, I found a novel community that reminded me of Misty. In my youth I was too young to consider what the island was like, but while I was there I knew that this was Misty’s home.

This photograph was taken on Chincoteague. It was scanned in and converted to grayscale. The two jet skies moored at the steps in front of the tugboat were painted out of the photo. Serveral Photoshop filters were applied.
