Air Chuck

The Air Chuck was produced during Advanced Intergraph Training at the Naval Undersea Warefare Center. It is an exploded 3D rendering of a tool used to fill tires with air. To produce this drawing I used a real air chuck and a micrometer.

Adding this image to the website was interesting. I only had a black and white print from 1993. I scanned the image at 300 DPI greyscale. Re-sampled it to 400 pixels wide, which blended the halftone screening, then added the background.
